FORESTAL ATLÁNTICO SUR has addressed the prevention and control of forest fires as one of the most important issues in its management plan, and for this reason an expert on the subject works in permanent collaboration with the company.

Since 2007 we have been implementing an integral plan which encompasses the definition of contingency plans for each area, the supply of equipment for all our sites, the instruction of the company’s employees and contractors and the training of workers in the work sites.

Additionally, the company is a member of PAIF GROUP, an association of 15 forest companies focused on forest fires prevention through mutual cooperation and financing of fire prevention resources.
